Need Help! Clutch Pedal Stuck To The Floor

After installation I went for a ride and I really like the way the clutch releases. So I came back to bleed the clutch system. I opened the brake reservoir and filled it to the top. My buddy helped me with the clutch pedal. I opened the nipple and told him to depress the clutch pedal and hold it down until I closed the nipple. So it's been done 5-6 times and next thing you know the clutch pedal won't come back.

Q: Clutch Pedal Sometimes Sticks On The Floor.

From time to time, my clutch pedal has no resistance and sticks to the ground, I have to raise it with my toe, it can last a few days and the problem disappears for 8/10 weeks.

Hi,

If you're on the trail and this happens, it could be boiling liquid from the heat. Changing to a higher boiling point brake fluid (the clutch uses brake fluid) will usually fix this, "better" fluid brands are aplenty, read them. Faulty master cylinder (no leaks and no pressure but can go up and no loss of fluid in the clutch reservoir). B. Slave cylinder failure (leaking fluid because the gasket came out), you will see it dripping from the bottom of the transmission bell housing and your clutch fluid will be low. If the slave cylinder is leaking I would ask them to make sure the clutch pressure plate is free of fluid, it ruins them over time.
